I just installed adlogger a couple of days ago: Is this something members here would bother reporting to google. It seems like even a legit visitor might click on multiple ads. I know I do when I am looking for something in particular:
AdLogger reports a multiple click by one of your visitors. The details of the report are below:
    Visitor IP - 67.150.14.69
    Date/Time of click - 9:56:10 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2007
AdLogger estimates this person has clicked a total of 9 ads.

Yes, you might report this to Google. I usually do that when I see fraudulent clicks (more than 10 in 3-4 minutes) on my ads.

Thus, Google adsense team will analyze more carefully your adsense earnings and you get the prove that you emailed them regarding invalid clicks.

I emailed them twice this month and answered me that my account is already under their attention. I think is was a good point. There are too many stupid people around the Internet...

Hi there! I've the exact same experience with you in the last month. It seems to me that someone try to bomb my ads. I was pretty worried about it and start to search for posts about Adlogger here. After checking up several posts regarding Adlogger, I found out that:

    1. Adlogger's figure may not be correct, it was pointed by some members that it tends to count as one click even if your mouse is over the ads. I'm not sure whether the new version is totally error free from it or not. But, I think Adlogger is can only acts some sort of reference.

    2. Try to set the maximum no. of clicks per user within certain period. A lot of people have set it to 5 click for the same user within 24 hours. But I think you'll need to monitor the effects of these changes and see.

Personally, I've sent an email to google also mentioning the situation also. I guess it is the no harm for doing this, right?

Just want to share some experience and hopes it gives you some ideas.

I thought that- I also thought that it if my account wasnt under scrutiny that it might place it in that category. I went ahead and made the report as the same IP has now clicked over 20 ads in the past few minuites. I would however assume that Google should just catch this kind of thing. I shouldnt have to monitor constantly for this type of activity. Or does everyone with an adsense account that is a significant source of revenue keep pretty close tabs on things?

I wasnt too worried- I have adsense account for a long time, but this is the first time I have had adlogger. I have never had issue with Google and am sure that this type of activity occured in the past. It just that I can see it now. Thats mainly why I wonder if I need to contact Google. I sent them a letter anyways and asked in the letter if my reporting this was needed. They will probably reply with a canned response I bet

For sure they will answer you but not using a canned message. I received answers from them several times until now and the answers were personalized. Anyway, good luck!
