I would like to hire a freelancer to submit my site to directories.

Can any one tell me, What proof(report) can I expect from the freelancer that he/she has done the work?

    Looking forward for your suggestions

confirmation emails from the directory are probably best.

but what I hav seen is, only 25-30% directories with high PR send the approval/confirmation mails...on the other hand, few spammy directories send it twice/thrice each...so emails may not be the measure of cross-checking the job...nor the excel list report...u hav to just trust the submitter based on the reviews of returning clients for his service...better if he provides some proof for manual submission as it produces maximum approval rate!
