    Hi DP members,
Please let me know if I can replace my blog 2 years old, now hosted free on wordpress, to my own hosting. Is it possible?

Try to send support ticket to your hosting provider and ask if they can help you out with the transferring.. I'm sure they will help you out..

It really is pretty easy. You will have to install Wordpress on your hosting account. If they have cpanel it is very simple.
Then you use the export function on your old blog to export your old posts and then import into your new blog. I have done it a few times and it usually goes pretty good. You will still need to re-install all your plugins and themes, but overall it wasn't too bad. The biggest downside is that you will lose your backlinks with the new domain name.
