repetitive : loading image gradually

    I think its called progressive jpeg, a quick google gives loads of results.

    thank you friends but
    progressive(jpg) //it doesn't work or i don't how it works
    and Interlacecl(png) //it works but terribly increase size of the image
    is there any script or something like this? // i know <img lowsrc ... >, but it isn't suitable for me.
    i'll be pleasure if you can guide me.

    the image on that site uses no javascript or anything. its an old technology that was used back in dial up days so you can get an idea of what the picture is before having the whole thing load.
    its just a save option in most image editors.
