Repeatative content

    Has anybody found google is becoming stricker for duplicate content or even repeatative content after this major update?

    Do you have an example of "repetative content"? Are you talking an entire page? A sentance?

    Are you asking because you have recently had pages dropped that were similar? If so, Google has been dropping more and more pages since Allegra but it has been a steady increase, not necesarily linked to an update. (I saw no sudden increase in the aftermath of Bourbon)

    If you gave an example of the dropped pages, most people here can tell you if it was due to dup content or not.

    Google is aggressively using new filters on dup content, especially since September of 2004.

    hmm, i have some pages that are PORTIONS of wikipedia articles...might i have a problem?
