Renting PR3 subdomain site with 12K pages in Google & 5K coop weight

Both the main domain and the subdomain are PR3. I'm renting out only the subdomain. The subdomain has 12K pages in Google.

You can use it for Co-op ads if you wish or sell links or have links on it to your own site. It is all set up for CO-OP ads and the weight was over 5K when I checked earlier this evening. I have not used the site for co-op other than the test run.

The site is MP3 related but does not contain any mp3 files.

I'm not going to disclose the URL so please don't ask. The highest bidder will be given the URL before payment and may decline if he or she so chooses. If you have any questions, please post it here.

Bidding starts at $60 per month.

PS: The winner can cancel anytime and will be refunded on a pro-rated basis (minus Paypal fees).

I will bid $65. An additional question and confirmation, though. This is for all pages on the PR3 sub-domain, correct? How many pages are there?

All the pages on the sub-domain and they are generated by a script. There are 12K pages in the index for THIS sub-domain.

On further thought, I'm making some modification to the offer. The offer is for up to 5 links on each of the pages on the subdomain. I can turn on the co-op ads for you or you could use the links for some other purpose.

Those who've already bid are free to withdraw their offer and my apology to them.

    BIN : $150/mo
Bid ends 9 am Tuesday (California Time).

so, that means you are selling adspace for coop ads or normal ads for $150 a month, and not really renting the subdomain ? Right ?

This sounds like an interesting sale... I have a few domains with good weight that I would be willing to rent. Is this allowed, Shawn? We do have a no-weight-selling policy so I'd like to know if we wouldn't be breaking the TOS

Sansam, you are mostly right. I realized that renting the subdomain might really mess up the site. The $150 part is not entirely right though. I'm selling it for the highest bid over $60 which at the moment is $75 unless it is withdrawn. The BIN just sets the upper limit.

Fryman, weren't you just looking for sites to increase your weight? Anyway, I looked at the TOS just before posting this and didn't see anything that negate this. The site has not been in the co-op system other than for the minute that I was testing the co-op ads.

People can sell advertising space on their site, and a co-op user could buy that space to run co-op ads for their account, but the seller should make it blatantly clear that they have no control over the "weight" value they will receive. Just because a site is 5k today, most definitely does not mean it's going to be 5k tomorrow.

The weight algorithms can (and have) changed, the Google API can give different results, or weight might not even be publicly available at some point. Not only that but unless you know a bunch of things (for example the weighting formula, the total system weight and the number of individual pages running ad network ads at any given time) there is no way for anyone to know what weight really equates into.
