Hello Everyone, Today I have got an offer from someone to rent content or articles that have been published on my website. Is it safe to rent content? Will it not hurt my Search Engine rank? The person is also asking me to install his wordpress plugin in my site. Will it be safe to install a Wordpress? What are other content renting source. Please tell if you know. Thank You
I have not heard of renting content. If this person is wanting to publish your content somewhere else when you've already published it on your site then the answer is no, you should not do that. It would be duplicate content.
I haven't heard of content renting either. Seems odd. Depending on where they want to publish it, offer to sell them publishing rights to it, or better yet have them syndicate it with a link back to your site. Good luck! Michael
