Hey, I had a domain name with namecheap that I let go expired. Then I just renewed it today for 2 years but it says.

The domain is not accessible at this time due to the following reason: 'Domain Expired'. If you think that the reason is incorrect, please contact support.

    What does this mean?

You will have to contact NameCheap support, rules are different depending on registrar. If the domain is with Public Domain Registry (Resellerclub), you can renew it even if has expired 10 days ago. I had done it last Sunday for some one and his site started functioning immediately.

Normally they give 30 days time to renew before completely expire.

There is usually a renewal grace period. After that, if it is with Enom it may be auctioned off at Namejet
