Hi, I purchased a .com in May this year for under $5 and have received a letter from Domain Registry of America wanting £18.00 to renewal my .com. This equates to close on $36 which is pretty appalling in my view. As I have a number of Netfirm Domains I shall not be using them again and buying new Domains before my websites become popular. Can anyone tell me who offers the cheapest renewals ? Thanks JB
http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2003/12/domainreg.htm Unfortunately they've acquired their own ICANN-accredited registrar after all that fiasco. And they're still at it as long as they're not seemingly breaking all and any applicable law...yet. Remember the saying: you get what you pay for. If you want to spend as "cheaply" as possible yet be able to sleep at night, be ready to shell out at least $7 a year for .com domain names.
