Renew/Transfer domain...

One of my sites is expiring in next 7 days. I'm not sure about renew with the current registrar (Yahoo for $9.95) or trasfer it elsewhere.

Is there a cheaper (but good) registrar where I can transfer my domain? How much time will take to transfer it (1 day, 1 week...)?

    Thanks :)

You can transfer it to GoDaddy for about seven bucks and it takes 3 to 5 days.

thanks for the replies. I have start the process...now in my Godaddy I have this:
    Status: Pending Current Registrar Approval
Recommended Action: Accept transfer at current registrar

Should I do anything else (I have put all the infos and the authorization code) or only wait? :)
It is the first time I trasfer a domain to another registrar :D

    Thanks

You will have to approve the transfer from current registrar. You'll most likely receive an email from Yahoo in next 24 hours asking you to click a link to confirm the transfer.

Btw, If you don't receive that email in 48 hours. I recommend you to renew at current registrar. A few bucks aren't important than your domain.

I haven't received any email from Yahoo, but now I can see the domain in my GoDaddy account. :D

$7.12 (with a coupon) for the trasfer to Godaddy. Thank you all...:)
