Renew expired SSL certificate ?

    Dear folk

    I am not a web hosting expert but I am not computer novice

    I have friend of mine he has website its SSL's certificate expired on March 26 and he is not willing to renew it via a web developer guy as he had conflict with him

    I checked the hosting manager and I found this

    When I click on "Update Certificate" page jumps to the bottom as per below :

    Web site was built with wordpress (Via a browser checked page source)

    I am looking for an instruction or guide how to install SSL certificate if I buy that certificate from a provider ?

    You can find online such tutorials. SSL vendors have on their sites. Example https://sectigo.com/resources/install-certificates-cpanel-11

    Notice that cPanel offers free SSL certs via the AutoSSL feature.

    As the actual cert is expired you can remove it and see if the AutoSSL will generate one automatically.
    The best way is to ask your host.

    Hello, zillah!!

    Better use free Lets Encrypt SSL certificate. Contact your hosting provider to activate it for you.

    Usually it is with 3 month validity, after that hosting provider activates it automatically again so you need to do nothing.

    It is quick and efficient way to solve your problem.
