Removing pages with "supplemental results"

Hi, I'm in a strange position right now. Someone posted defamatory page on me on some web site. I requested politely to the webmaster of that web site to remove my listing, which he did, but now Google is not ready to forget what was posted about me. When searched for my name, Google shows the old page as "supplemental listing" and it won't take it off their index. Now, I do not have any control over that web site otherwise I would take measures such as putting 301 redirects and such. However, I also tried Google's console to remove URLs but without any luck since the page was on a forum and have some xxx.php file. Therefore, Google won't even allow me to remove that page either :( I don't know what to do... I really want those posts out of my way. It's becoming a big pain when others see my name like that. Please help!

I'd just concentrate on ranking your own pages above them. I don't think there's anything you can do to get them out of the index.

THe fact that it is now a supplemental result (and that the page was removed) means it will likely be dropped soon. Best thing is to just wait it out. Most searchers won't know to use the "cache" to see what it used to say.

Your name isn't Costa Dedes, is it?
