Believe me Patrick, If I had a list I'd have absolutely no problem with starting it. The only problem is what if the list gets large and needs a lot of time to tend to it. You know time is not my friend these days. :)

I think as a disciplinary measure, I would automatically subscribe their paypal emails to a few million spammers.

hahahah now that sound slike a fair means of payback! :p

Yeah i know how you are busy these days :p,
Lol the millions spams stuffs is really mean but when i know how much time i needed to create one template, well the guy will payback by taking time removing and banning tons of domain names to his email addres ;D, though its not fair.
WE should blacklist them, blacklist HURTS, blacklist teach.

    Like that dude at http://www.adsenseblacklist.com/

I don't like it either, however I just don't use templates like that. If you think that it's too much just don't use the template or contact the creator to see if you can remove the lnks for a fee.

Yes, if you used the input of 3 different parties to build your directories. If you want just one link you have to learn to skin your own directory, or use the default one like a million other directories.

You should consider the link back as the creator's repayment for doing the design. Not paying them back for the work they put in is just plain wrong.

    Think about what you're saying..
Nobody is holding a gun to your head to use a FREE template, are they?

Also, if it's a phpLD script, you CAN cut it down to two links by purchasing a no linkback license.... but wait, that will cost, now won't it?

There are a large number of people who use the PR update tool and category dumps at DirectorySpy. I don't require anything in return, but I see the resources being used everywhere, and only receive a tiny percentage in gratitude.

As with my resources, and in the case with the templates, a lack of respect means those who contribute will stop doing so!

Not stopping us at all :D, it doesn't work that way. But there'll be some restrictions, for example i will not accept that kind of site in my directories and ban their IP, its their choices anyway.

They want to play a game lol, let's play.

So I've been "nofollowed" not surprising. I have a list of everyone I've given/sold that theme to, along with their emails, this one doesn't ring a bell, I don't recall who owns that directory.

Eventually there will be some means of tracking. I'll get their asses sooner or later.

Looking forward to it, Rob. I didn't mention in my license that they couldn't put a nofollow, so it's sort of a loophole, still low though. I created the theme and sold it for a low price for a reason, that nofollow defeats the purpose. :)
