Removing Infolinks Increases Adsense Revenue

I have recently tested Infolinks adverse revenue impact on Adsense revenue. The results are shocking. For every "new window" Infolinks click, I lose ten-fold revenue for an equal Adsense click. Beware and post your own results...

when I put infolinks on my site, whatever the keyword or keywords were in my content, the ad was always "open a facebook account" lol...

    so what to say :)

Hi, This is Itai from Infolinks. I do understand you are comparing Infolinks and Adsense. It’s important to note that AdSense and Infolinks are both similar and distinct from each other. Similarities include high paying, quality ads and the ability to reach the visitor. A few distinctions between the two include product choices and ad locations. While AdSense pioneered the ads field with conventional and display ads, Infolinks focused on monetizing unconventional website assets. Infolinks’ advanced ad placement delivers ads in between the lines, outside of a site’s frame and more. Keep in mind that you do not have to choose between Google or Infolinks – you can use them both on the same web pages. These two types of ads are compatible on the same page, and using both of them together is actually the best way to maximize your total earnings off of your website. ^4% of our publishers successfully combine Infolinks and AdSense on the same pages and earn the most from this combination

I highly recommend you contact our support team at , and they would be happy to help you further optimize your site and improve your ad performance. Thank you, Infolinks

If you use multiple ad network in same page then of course you will loose revenue in some and you will earn in other that is where you have to decide which one you should keep, if you think you will add too many network in one page and that will increase earning that is wrong you should keep only one good network in page.

Its will not happen with just infolinks, it will happen with all network, if you use multiple network then traffic gets distributed.

No I am not comparing Infolinks with Adsense. I am stating the fact that Infolinks steals clicks from Adsense ads, thus reducing the overall revenue. Comparing Infolinks to Adsense would be running them separately on a given website and THEN comparing revenue.

Also, it is no secret that Infolinks is having some sort of MAJOR issue in paying their publishers this month. After paying publishers on 1st or 2nd for years, they suddenly without any heads up paid on the 6th last month, now it is the 13th and still no payment. Yeah yeah, we know all about net45. But this is just plain bad business practice. I have heard that it is very possible that Infolinks is having financial problems and may go belly up. Unless they pay out today, publishers would not even see the funds posted until Tuesday the 18th due to the Holiday on Monday. If that is not reason enough to dump Infolinks, I don't know what is.

The more ads you place on your page, the more your revenue will decrease. Just try to keep advertising only with one service. The more ads are included on our page, the more the visitor gets confused and this can get you him not to click any of them.

Because they don't give a damn about us publishers obviously. I have been a faithful publisher for many years. I even tolerate non-relevent ads from Infolinks. They have a blog that they could have given us a heads up about this major payment date change. They could have sent out an email. They have no problem doing just that when it comes to announcements that will make them more money. They have a Facebook page that they could have made a post about. But they just cruise along like nothing is wrong posting away promotions, etc. I will not do business with a company that pulls the rug out from under you and hurts you financially like this. I will not only stop recommending Infolinks, but will warn people about my experience here the last two months.

I added infolink ads on my site and I can say it's not that much good because it cover our screen and anyone can easily understand that it is an advertisement so no one will let you earn money. but Adsense is good.
