I recently removed the CBNet Ping Optimizer, the developer (or the guy who forked the plugin) posted that this plugin is no longer necessary (given that recent wp versions now accomplish what this plugin was once useful for) OK fine... I had to go hunt down an error on line 3193 of an unrelated functions.php file and to my dismay I still see an entry at the top of phpmyadmin for this plugin that I removed. If windoze registry is any kind of corollary, is it safe to simply delete the "ghost" entry in phpmyadmin much the same way we uninstall a program only to find left over detritus in the form of registry entries for windows programs we uninstalled? Can I safely just delete the entry in phpmyadmin for this plugin that I've removed? Or might that cause other issues
if you removed it so you can delete all its tables on your database without any problem!! Just in case before doing this make a backup of this tables then Remove them!
