    Hello
    I want to delete my WordPress site tags. Do tags that are not indexed also need to be redirected? or can I just delete them without redirecting?

    I think in wordpress 404 page is already setted up ..... So if you are deleting any tags which are not indexed till now, no need to redirect them to any page. And if any tags are indexed then also you can put a search option on 404 page, so if anyone visit there by deleted tags then he can search for his desired keywords in your site.

    Google is going to make deliberately bad request to ensure you do have a 404.
