Remove vBSEO and 301 redirect old url's to mod_rewrite URL of vBulletin 4?

    Hello,
should I remove vBSEO from my forum? I want to remove vBSEO and redirect the url's to the vBulletin 4 mod_rewrite URL's.
Are there any case studies about removing vBSEO and move to vBulletin 4 url's with 301 redirect?

Are the vBSEO functions outdated and a risk for search engine ranking?

    Best regards
    Matthias

You can remove the VBSEO, it won't change much of SEO or rankings as such, DO NOT CHANGE the htaccess or else all the URL's will become 404, just let it be there.

Also what are you looking to do with 301 ?

I've changed back to the normal vBulletin 4 URLs in 5 forums (two of them big boards) and it worked fine, nothing bad happened, so I would say that yes, it would be better from a security perspective to get rid of vBSEO.

If you need support on that let me know.
