Remove this stupid robots.txt

I simply want to remove this stupid thing from my blog ! wordpress |
Howda i do it ?

When i submit my blog to google web masters its says !
URL restricted by robots.txt
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

 

Remove robots.txt from root folder of the website

 

Are you using the XML Sitemap Generator plugin?

 

yes i m using that plugin !..

 

nothing is happening when i remove it from the root folder !
same error !

 

Can't you edit manually the robots.txt?

 

what do i have to do and how do i edit it ?

 

You may want to check all your files for robots.txt to see where you can take it out of.

 

If you can delete it then please do the same.

If you can not delete and edit the same then put the below code.

Are you hosted in godaddy?

 

You should just be able to delete it with godaddy.

 

tried contacting your hosting support?

 

A code might help.

 

Download your robots.txt and edit it with notepad. Delete all that are written there and leave it blank, upload it back to your website.

 

Are you sure you have deleted it from the root? If it has been deleted, I can say that you would not find this error. Please check your website with websitename.com/robots.txt and confirm whether the robots.txt is still there.

 

You might have blocked Robots Code.

Open Current Robots.txt File & replace with following code :-


User-agent: * Disallow:

Post some e.g solutions for the same robots.txt, because am also facing same problem....
