    Hey DigitalPoint,

I just signed up to DP, mainly to sell one of my websites and a few things I have around, and I hate the way that you have to wait seven days after registering to do anything.
I'm suggesting to remove the 7 day limitation totally. 24 hours may be an alright time, but a week is too much in my opinion. This includes the signature/links/BST limits.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good way to stop spammers and people who want to scam sell, but if someone was desperate to do that, they'd make one or two accounts and wait a week without doing anything...

Instead, how about either of these?
    - Wait 24 Hours
    - AND 10+ Posts
    - OR 1+ iTrader Point

    Exactly.

What's 24 hours to a spammer? No trouble at all..

Timer starts from 1st post, not registration day. Duplicate accounts are banned. I don't really understand how what you're saying here is opposing what you said in the 1st part of the sentence, despite the use of the word 'But'

You want to force people into doing business if they don't want to, in order to be able to do future business? Sounds illogical and impractical.

24 hours and 10 posts is literally <10 minutes work + 24 hours wait. You really think that should be the test for every single person on this board to be able to get 2 backlinks and buy/sell/trade on it?

Do you really have any idea how many spammers there are?

Your points don't seem logical or well thought out, but rather made out of a hasty argument from a person anxious to make a sale.
