Hello, I really like the forums. However, I totally hate having to type dummy characters in the auction boards. I understand that you want to keep quality posts, but in the marketplace that is hardly the case as, for example, in other forums it's easy to post: $200 Here I have to post: $200 jidjfsdfdsf and well, it's quite annoying. My $0.02. Thanks.
$300 .. err I need more characters. one must understand that the purpose of these forums isn't to be just a market place, nor was it intended to be one in the first place. The market place is just one aspect of this forum and there needs to be a minimum in place to ensure the quality of posting for the rest of the board. Having 1 or 2 character posts doesn't really help at all. Shawn knows what he's doing.
Heh. Just something to think about! Maybe it'd be easy (and good) to take the character restriction to the market place and leave it everywhere else! The marketplace is not about quality posts anyway.
