    Unbelivible thing is happening.

If you are holding java script code for fan box, like I do for last 1 year you need to remove it asap.

I notice today I got 30 000 visits from domain facebook.com, it is crazy couse I got 300 visits per day from FB.

All visits stay at domain facebook.com and in that way my ads are publishing for facebook.com domain and not for my website!

I could not understand whats the problem. When I removed fan box that traffic from facebook stoped!!

Becouse many people are logged in on facebook and when they came to my site, that fanbox transfer them to http://www.facebook.com/extern/login_status.php?api_key=.... and stay there.

Over 30 000 today was counted as FB traffic.

    Spread the word!! Unbelivible theft!!

Actually if you have many fans in your fan page, then they will get update whenever any content is posted in your website and then they will visit your website. Since you have added code to your blog then many visitors have joined your fan page and hence it is increasing visits from facebook..

If you are getting traffic then what is the problem?

ANyway, thanks for this information. It is useful for all beginners.

    You don't understand.

My traffic start to coming from example digg.com , fan box from site transfer that visit to facebook.com/extern... becouse visit from digg.com is also loged in at facebook (like 70% people on line) and java script fan box transfered to their URL.

The traffic is useless in that way.

This isn't good at all. When these sites get to big - then they get to powerful.

Sorry to clarify again coz wasn't quite sure about what you mean..you mean when people click from your fan page to your site or when people come from google, or other pathway that the fanbox transfer them to the url you said? I suppose is the latter right?

I also not quite sure about this but how come i didn't see mine got redirected?

If someone click on your fanbox, it will re-direct to facebook, so for sure it helps facebook. But it does not mean your site is not benefiting, because those fans will notice your facebook change every time you update it. Without facebook, your fans will leave your site without coming back.

I'm not sure if it's not a malfunction/improper code. I get visitors on my homepage and google analytics doesn't tell me they exit the page, they keep visiting. And when I'm logged on Facebook, I'm not redirected when there's the fan box on a page. All seems very fine to me. I use the iframe fan box tho, I must say.
