Buying Remove encrypted footer

    Hi Everyone,
    Years ago, I had someone make a bunch of themes for me with links in the encrypted footers.
    Well as you know that is now frowned upon by Google, I want to ask the people using these themes to stop, but feel I owe them a replacement or remove the footer at my cost.

    TBH I am not a teky and am not sure how the footer is encrypted, but I would expect who ever takes this job would be able to figure it out.

    Depending on how this is created, just replacing the footer in its entirety won't even deal with the encryption at all, unless the whole thing is encrypted, in case I would suggest they toss it in the garbage immediately. But as long as the footer is a footer.php, footer.tpl, footer.html or anything of the kind, just replacing that file should work just fine.
