    Hello Members,

My paypal account has 1 dispute which is over a month
old now. My PP account is restricted. I cant send money etc.

I have delivered the items to the buyer late though, but he has become
non responsive now.My credit card is also attached with PP.

So how do I prove that i delivered the items?

Can the buyer cancel the dispute anytime even if its old?

What is to be done in such a situation?

    Need your suggestions folks.

    Thanks for your time.

I am not sure how you shipped the product but with paypal, it is always adviseable to ship using a courier service which provides both online tracking and with insurance so that both you and your customers are protected. The Online Tracking or services which offers proof of delivery is vital in business as it would be the deciding factor to determine if you actually delivered the item and if the buyer actually receives it.

If you use the normal airmail or snail mail without proof of delivery then you are really very much out of luck.

Even if you do not qualify for the Seller's Protection Policy, it would still be a crucial idea to comply with the steps and not only for Paypal but everything else you ship for business.

    Eddy and Sir.dosh,

    The items were digital items.

I just gave the buyer the link to the download.

I would just like to know, can the buyer close the dispute whenever he wants ? Its over
    1month now.

    Thanks for your time members.

Yes, the buyer would have the full rights to determine whether the dispute is settled or not. If they do not reply in 45 days or if they escalate the dispute, paypal would make the final decisions.

Digital items is very sticky issues and there is no way you can prove that you delivered the item.

Hopefully because of the non-communication from the buyer, paypal would take it that he has received the item and is happy and rule in your favor.
