Remove Background

    HI all,

    I have a logo that I created with a black background. I really need to have a clear background on the logo, and all the ways I know how to remove a background are not working. I am unable to just recreate the logo without the background. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Have you tried the magic wand tool in Photoshop? Adjust the tolerance in the top bar to meet your needs.

    If you are familiar with the pen tool, it will work.

    I unfortunately do not own photoshop. I have the free version of Serif and then the standard paint, etc programs. I am only semifamiliar with the pen tool. I have attempted to use it, but it has been very difficult to get the lines exactly where I need them.
