Remove 404 logs and disable?

I installed Joomla on a domain I had been using for another site but I was looking for a way to redirect the 404 pages when I realized their is a log of 10,000+ 404 pages how do I stop the logging? and remove the logs in one go?

 

This may be something to contact support at joomla for.

 

If you are using Joomla version 1.7 or 2.5, there is a built in feature in it for redirect 404 page. but if you use version 1.5, maybe you can use sh404SEF
