A general rule of thumb. If you post it plan for it to be onine a long time.

To expand on that, if this was accepted (where we contact the moderators) to delete any threads/posts, it could lead to it being abused, furthermore all posts should remain online (which comply with the rules), as they could help others in the near future (for e.g. the forum), questions answered may give another person a solution, deleting such posts - may effect the quality of service the forum offers.

You should have taken care about your privacy while putting them in your post. If it were a mistake, you indeed got a window of 8 hours to remove them... but I guess you deliberately wanted them to stay there!
I wonder why ruckus over it... after 2-3 years of them having stayed there?

    Regards,

Some 3 years after you posted it, why now?

This forum is transparent and Mods won’t normally help in this instant.

You may be better off creating a new email address and forget the other one.

    Thanks Brian

I just don't want to be spammed and not contacted by anyone.
Even google groups offers feature to edit/remove content.

Thats more like saying Digitalpoint can change its "revenue sharing" anytime, it shouldn't have been introduced in first place.

Apparently you're failing to grasp the difference. They can change what they post on their site. You cant. It's how the net works.

    - If you post something on your blog you can always erase it...
    - If you post it on someone else's forum it is theirs to deal with as they choose.

You cant accuse someone of violating your privacy just because YOU posted something.Insisting otherwise is amusing but unrealistic.

FFR - Dont put anything on the net you dont want out there in perpetuity, and dont insist others correct your own errors. Welcome to the real world.

If you asked politely, there was a chance to get them removed.
You posted them and now you suddenly feel that it is not so cool, then it's your fault as you have had a chance to remove them yourself within 8 hours after posting.

Anyway, if you really concern about your **rights to privacy**, PM any mods.. They may do it for you if you're lucky.

maybe alternative way if the mods here won't delete your thread, the only things you can do is ask google from not showing the content in google search result.
you can do by asking google to remove the content from search result from this url: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals

    hope it will helps.
