    Love GeneratePress - very fast and simple theme!

    I would use Gutenberg blocks and build out a custom homepage - something clean and simple.

    It looks like you thought of SEO as you set up the sidebar and created the content, this is excellent! I would make the sidebar sticky so it scrolls with the user (not a big deal, it would just look less plain on desktop view).

    Set up a mailing list and add an opt-in form to the sidebar and keep doing what you're doing.

    The design is simple and the load times are fast. The articles seem well put together and researched with a good a amount of images. I would suggest adding just a bit of styling to the homepage to make it less spammy looking.
