Whats the deal with online remnant advertising and last-minute ad discounts? Will it ever be made freely available to buyers online in the future? I've been personally invetigating the issue but the only info Ive been able to find thus far about online remnant advertising is a blog - www.lastminuteadclub.org and some articles here and there. Are there are any sites out there that offer this? What exactly happens to this remnant inventory? Any ideas?? I'm interested in learning about remnant inventory and potential last-minute discount sales across all media, radio, TV, print, you name it!
You have to be percieved as able take unlimited volume at the remanat rates and they have to be sure you will not be opening up your budget for thier inventory unless you get the low cpm's you are requesting. At large scalable sites remant goes to the large direct response players like nextag.com, lowemybills.com, classmates.com and netflix.com OR they monitize unsold inventory by selling it to an ad network like advertising.com or valueclick.
Hi napaspa, appreciate the response! Could you explain the budget concept a little more? That kinda escaped me...
