Like many other people I saw every bit on television and was horrified. In the back of my mind, I knew this also meant my child in the Army would be deploying. That day forever changed many lives.

Hard to believe it was 7 years ago.
I remember that morning clearly as if it was yesterday.

I remember being in school and we were watching morning news for History class and it happened. Our principal also came on around the time the second tower got hit and asked for all the upper grades (4-8th) to pray for the victims (catholic school mind you, not public).

RIP to everyone affected by it. Luckily my one cousin didn't work that day.

My daughter was a little over a year old and she and I were having breakfast and and it all started happening. I had no idea what was going on at first. I began to call all my family and friends and stayed on the phone most of the day in awe.... I was scared of being alone. My dad kept telling me at first that it wasn't terrorist attacks to make me feel better but I knew deep down that it was and I looked at my daughter and wondered what kind of ****ed up world, I had brought this baby into!

Waging a war of logic against ATV will only frustrate you. You're not going to change the minds of people like him.

Ahh so im not alone in thinking he is terrible at arguing and rather anti american for reasons he doesn't even know himself.

9/11 will always be remembered and those who celebrated 9/11 in that youtube video, I pity them.

I watched the special on the History Channel last night. This was all put together with footage shot by people on the street. One shot had me in tears, and so proud at the same time. It was a shot of row after row of firemen walking towards the stricken buildings as everyone else raced away. They were 4 abreast and seem to extend forever. Their faces were grim but determined. It is men and women like these that make me SO proud to be an American.
