Well .. It seems I at 33 y/o when I'm just becoming successful have learned that I may have one of two things (2 more surgery's on Oct 3rd) will determine which one. I may either have severe liver disease (Born with it) or Liver cancer. Liver cancer is the most painful type of cancer and if I have it they won't be doing a transplant because a new liver would just carry the cancer as well. I'll likely spent what little time I have if this is the one of the two I have doing things with my wife and two small children so I can spend as much time with them as I can. Very sad for me if this is the one of the two things (It's looking heavily towards cancer over disease). My children are aged 5 months and 2.5 years and I have an 11 year old son as well. If it's Liver disease well there is a possibility I could receive a transplant. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get one if that's the case as I've been sick now for almost 1 year. I don't want sympathy nor pity. Just letting an update be known for those who posted when I was hospitalized some time ago. It's all very scary for me at the moment and hopefully none of you have to go through this. At first they thought it was hemochromatosis. It wasn't it's worse. Meantime it's business as usual so that my family can eat while I do these tests / treatments.
Well I've not been hospitalized since but I've been still feeling pretty run down / tired alot. If I've not been super active here for a bit that's part of why. I also just went on a holiday for two weeks to the north pacific ocean and just got home a couple days ago. This new diagnosis hit me as a bit of a shock the day after I got home. Pretty crappy to find this stuff out but I'll take it all in good humor as even if what I have is terminal you only live once anyways so if I find out that's the case you can bet I'll be enjoying every second in life I've been given doing something extreme like jumping from airplanes and the like! Right now everything's just a big whirlwind medically. Business wise things are frankly phenominal. If something were to happen to me the business will continue on and people have been appointed just in case so no worries there for people. It's now just a waiting game until Oct 3rd for the ultimate results. A word of advice. Live every day like it's your last. You don't realize how venerable you are at a young age sometimes.
I hope you won't mind, but I was looking at liver cancer treatments. I saw this website where it listed Surgical Resection, Radiofrequency Ablation, Resection & Ablation, Cryosurgery, Chemotherapy, Chemoembolization, Alcohol Injection, Radiation Therapy, Hepatic Artery Infusion, Laser Photocoagulation, Portal Vein Embolization, Isolated Liver Perfusion, and Liver Transplantation. Absolutely none of my business I know, but if it turns out to be liver cancer, make sure you get a doctor that specializes in liver cancer. Cancer is bleak, but there is always a chance. Sincerely wishing you the best.
liver have some extra power , liver can always recover the problems ... one doctor told me about it, so don't mind. keep testing.
But friend liver transplant may not be the answer for liver cancer, in fact there are no answers to liver cancer. If cancer cells have already spread to other parts liver transplant will be of not much use. But never ever give up hope. You know miracles can always happen.
