Remeber this name "SeekMash" Its a meta search engine ;)

I have had a bit of a nightmare trying to launch a new search engine, it has taken me over 3 months to find a good domain and over 10 days to install and modify.

Anyway, my idea is to offer a search engine that delivers more relevant and rank worthy websites by combining search results from Google, Bing and Yahoo without the sponsored ads that are normally at the top.

I run many websites and my main one is always 4th in Google but really it is actually 1st due to the relevance of the site. I am sick and tired of sites paying for my keywords and getting higher rankings, I am not alone in this, I know many other webmasters who lose to high paying advertisers bidding on all of their keywords to rank higher, even if the end product is nowhere near as good.

The slight shade of yellow that is the background for these sponsored ads, in my opinion, is not disguising these sponsored ads enough, making sure that a search user will click them, not knowing that they have paid to be there. This gives the search user a lower quality website, in most cases, not the quality of the 1st placed site that is there due to quality, the site right underneath the slight yellow background.

I think advertising should not be disguised like this and Googles terms for publishers say the exact same thing, if I was to use the same technique to generate clicks, my Adsense account would be banned, I am sure! Sponsored ads should be only on the right of search results, giving the user a chance to choose the top ranked site or maybe choose a sponsor, if the advert sticks out to them.

I have implemented this on SeekMash and I hope you enjoy the search results that it generates. Please give me an honest review, any things you think would work better and I will take all criticism and use it productively.

I rreally like your search engine , webdesign + results im seeing everything its PERFECT.

Its very difficult for a search engine to grow up those days but hope your search engine rreally grow up .
