Relocating from a .co.uk to a .com to avoid surpression - a good idea for SEO?

My .co.uk seems to have some sort of geo google supression (not penalty) for over 1 year now. I am considering relocating to a .com ending address with the same name. Is this a good idea and can the supression follow?

Don't do it a .co.uk can rank well on international search engines you just need to put in alttle bit more effort plus if you switch to .com it would be like starting from scratch and you may not be able to rank well on UK only Google.co.uk.

Why not keep your existing (so you don't lose all the history with the search engines & also start a brand new .com site. This way you may end up with the 2 good sites!

I strongly suggest you stay .co.uk, this way you keep your brand, and your existing links, therefor getting more traffic on a .com would be harder.

It's no point.. honestly, keep your products/services on your local .co.uk market.
