Reload an image after photo manipulation

Hi again, I could use a little help :p .
On my website I have a photo mosaic creator. Step 1 involves uploading the photo and by step 4, the mosaic is made. The problem is that for some reason, when the mosaic is finished, it displays looking like the original picture and doesn't change until you refresh the page several times. My guess is that the browser(Mainly Firefox, but I've seen it in a few other browsers) knows that this file was originally a copy of the picture uploaded, so it assumes that it still is and displays that to save space downloading the new data, but I don't know for sure.

You can see the an example at http://apps.facebook.com/fauxsaics/ (Sorry, the actual website where this problem started is down for repairs, but the exact same thing happens on the app).

If anyone knows what I would have to do to reload the image so that people don't think nothing happened to their picture, it would help me a lot. Thanks!
