But, 1. If my understanding of Love means one thing for me, but yours is something else 2. If my understanding of good means one thing for me, but yours is something else 3. If my understanding of virtue means one thing for me, but yours is something else 4. If my understanding of bad means one thing for me, but yours is something else 5. If my understanding of virtue means one thing for me, but yours is something else 6. If my understanding of wisdom means one thing for me, but yours is something else 7. If my understanding of truth means one thing for me, but yours is something else BD Then we will be talking to one another in an unknown language and there will be no understanding between us. And issues of all sorts will come up. Like. Why are you not respecting my beliefs, customs and etc.? You have inherited a house from your grand, grand parents but you see it is not functioning right. What are you going to do? Throw out the rotten and broken beams and other things and replace them with new ones. Leave only what is good. This is what our societies have from the past generations. Old ideas that are not working properly, but we insist on keeping them as "antique" valuables. No, throw them away and replace them with new and good ones.
The human Geno was fully mapped in 2003. Last time I checked you have 99% of the same genes as a chimpanzee. Humans and chimpanzees are almost 99% genetically identical, making the chimpanzee our closest animal relative. Some scientists have even proposed renaming the chimpanzee species to include them in the genus Homo, the human family. (The scientific name for humans is Homo sapiens). Scientists who have been studying and comparing the genes think that gene expression explains the big differences there seem to be between humans and chimpanzees. That means that though we have the same genes as chimpanzees, our genes act differently to cause different developments. Genetic researchers have also found slight differences in the two genes that regulate smelling, and speech and language, and they may find more differences in the future.
In general a good tree produces good fruits, but this is not always the case with religion, that is because the followers of the religion may not implement the religion correctly and then the good fruits are not produced, the problem now lies with man who has failed not with the religion, does that make sense?
More or less a dominant religion in a nation will direct the culture and the social behavior of its people. If the people in the respective nation are nobler, more truthful, smarter, living healthier lifestyles, and all people in the nation have equal rights, obviously that religion offers better teachings than a religion which does not promote the above values, (even if the dominant religion is not applied as it is supposed to by all citizens.)
The examples are out there. Go live in a country like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc. Islam dominated nations, then go live in India where religion other than Islam is practiced Hindu, Krishna or another one. Then go live for some time in a few countries where Christianity is the main religion and you will get all the facts first hand. No lies, no cheating, no exaggerations. Short variation: befriend people from all kind of religions and you will have some idea about their religion. That’s how you can find out which trees produce the best fruits.
I don't have enough info about many of the religions, but I prefer fruits from the tree of Love, Brotherhood, and Sisterhood.
