tells us all will be judged according to the contents of their hearts, whether they have the Law or not.

then why the killing of Heretics, witches, pagans and jews?

Oh and other Christians that don’t follow a given sect of Christianity

    st0x,
Dead Corn is not far off and neither are you. How I see it (from my research) is this: Those that will be judged will be the entire inhabitants (humans) on earth. There may be ones that did not get the opportunity to learn about Jesus and God. The reasoning I am gong by is this: We honestly don't know if these ones will be exempt from the wrong side of judgment, or not. Only Jesus and God will know who has been reached and who has not been reached. What people do with the information when they have been reached should determine the action taken by God's son. Of course, many scriptures say things like "kiss the Son so he may not be incensed" and "every knee should bend" and "no one comes to the Father, except through me". However, the reasoning on these and others like it show it is meant for one's who "deny" Jesus.

Now denying Jesus is far different from believing in Jesus. For example, if a young lad of 12 years living on a remote island with a population of say 100, never even heard of Jesus, would it be fair to judge him? It's something to think about for sure.

there is a verse somewhere in the bible that talks about what you just said about the contents of the heart. I just dont have time to look for it right now, but i remember a friend of mine told me this before he transformed into a catholic extremist. Its too bad cause he had it right the first time being a moderate:D. Im catholic but i wont shove my beliefs in anyones face and that is why i have friends from all religions. I think i had best friends from every major religion and non religion on earth lol.

Jeremiah 17:10 is a good one.
    Proverbs 21:2 and 1 Samuel 16:7.
Luke 12:34 is another good one.

StOX... I think you may be right there. But again, that belief can be cemented in a nano-second, at the Time of Judgement, for instance. I also believe there are many who have the Law written on their hearts who just haven't had the opportunity of meeting Him yet. The Bible tells us they will. All will. I think they've got a good shot, those types. Better than most. For us who now believe, narrow is the gate is a far more frightening concept, hypocrits that we mostly are.
