    1. The Pitzer college says this: "Today, Pitzer enrolls approximately 1,000 students in more than 40 fields of study leading to the bachelor of arts degree. Some of the more popular concentrations are psychology, sociology, political studies, media studies, environmental studies and art."
Are you fucking blind? Or do you thinka college can only be about one thing? Pathetic.

    2. I NEVER said 85% were atheists in my original post, I said about 80-85% are non-believers.
Fucking move to Sweden if you want proof, we're one of the least religious country in the world.

Sweden is not like your country and you can't do anything about it.
Close countries like Denmark and Norway are pretty much the same when it comes to religion.

Religions rise and fall in perfect symphony with the tides of time and civilization, but it will never die off. History has shown us that. Repeatedly. Over and over again. It puts on a new coat, and a snazzy new makeover, and voila, 200 years from now, 60% of the Western world will be devout adherents to Windows-ism, where the biggest religious feast of the year is the Service Pack 1 Day, followed closely by Security Updates Day. There will be various competing denominations within Windows-ism, with the Roman Vista Business holding the biggest majority, and the Orthodox Win98 in the Balkans the biggest in terms of geographic distribution.

There will be intense conflict in the Middle East, as Ubuntuism struggles under the deviant concepts of Macintoshism.

The Atheist meanwhile, will once again claim that Window-ism will face extinction as there are more people in Norway who profess to Android-Tablet-ism.

It seems like the gutter atheist rats are coming out of the woodworks again. I really dont blame them because they know that most people on earth will never supress their innate sense of God.

Atheist soviet union tried to do it to their own people killing millions, china is still trying to do it to its people yet religion is exploding even there. Atheist scientist joseph needham did a study about why china's scientific achievment was stagnant in the 16th to 17th century while the west exploded in this area, and even though he didnt like the answer he still wrote that it was due to the christian worldview that looks for an intelligible and ordered universe created by God.

Samantha, its a shame that you talk out of sheer ignorance. Atheists in ancient times thought that the world was flat (yet in the bible it stated that the earth was circular). This is just one claim that was validated by science from the bible. In the late 19th century atheist were preaching that the universe was static (eternal), now science has proven this wrong, that the universe had a beginning, yet we know the so called atheists will never admit that the bible was right and they were flat out wrong lol.

Samantha, It seems to me that it is you that does not think with your own brain, not religious people. The bible that you call out of date has the best historicity of any ancient book hands down!!! That is no coincidense.

No one told me to believe anything, I did as Jesus said to do, seek and I found him.
You seem to have this very childish way of viewing christians, and this is due to your ignorance.

If you want to start on the right foot why not start with a true intellectual like Gary Habermas who was about to become a buddhist until he did his phd dissertation on the resurrection of Jesus and then gave his life to the lord. He came to God by faith and reason. Give it a try girl, it made shake you out of your self delusion

Unfortunately many people are too dumb to see past religion, it seems they need it, it's an evolutionary by-product.

I am truely sorry that you went through what you went through Samantha:(, but do you really think its also fair to condemn the good religious people that truely follow the word of God because of the actions of some bad people in a religion? If I used this analogy then everyworld view on earth according to you is sick and evil. How do you feel about the atrocities commited by people whose foundational worldview is atheism like lenin, stalin pol pot ect that killed more people in 100 yeRS THAN ALL RELIGIOUS wars put together (sorry for cap lock).

It seems like many dumb people like you and other atheists continue to fall for the materialist fantasies that atheists put out like darwinian evolution. Let me guess, your from england right? Its good to know that they have many puppets like u that cant think for their ownself:)

"atheism brought ignorance to 16th and 17th century china
christianity brough scientific achievment to the west in that era"

I agree with pingpong. I don't hate athiests because of their perception or anything. I see them posting here ALL the time about how blind we are and the only reason of the world suffering is because of religion. ;)

It's funny because it's the other way around for us.
So far I have recieved over 200 hate mails and PM's from angry religious people saying they are going to kill me and my family and so on when I just said that I don't believe in a god.
I have no problem with anyone else believing in gods but it's of no use trying to convert people over the Internet.

It's the whole thing of "what you believe validates/invalidates what I believe".

I've never understood that. Its just like my gay friends who marry somehow make my marriage less/more. What anyone else believes has no impact on my faith. One day we'll find out who was right and who was wrong and if there are any penalties for being wrong (surely a benevolent God would be more interested in how you lived rather than which doctrine you followed). Until then we have our faith and that is all it can be - faith.

This quote makes me laugh. Thank god for very bright open minded religious following Christians. Europe would still be in dark ages without them.
If the world was ruled by very religious intelligent fairy tales following creatures every one would be in far better shape.
May the almighty bless you all.

    Precisely.
Imagine the kind of ego and hubris a man would need to completely reject an opposing point of view completely, and out of hand, knowing full well that there are insufficient evidence to make any conclusive opinion, one way or the other.

they are retards just like your inquisition was run by retards.
but lets us an accept your 100 years, these people killed and been killed/dealt with. your religions have been at it for 2000+ years and still killing in the name of god, who's fucked up now? not i. you and all like you.

you are not sorry one bit that a clergyman sexually abused me, and nor are the people at the very top of your religion that had the power to stop it, no they kept the perverts, and moved them to new territory with fresh meat to abuse. the pope could have and should have excommunicated them along with terrorist, did he? no. he tried to hide the abuse, protect the perverts, and BLAME THE VICTIMS.
i call that the most perverted act in the name of god anyone could do.

As I said before researchers like Professor Needham have allready shown that Scientrific achievement was synonomous with a christian worldview during the 16th and 17th century. Your one line responses only make you look even dumber then you are. Needham knew his stuff and he was an atheist but he followed the truth and the truth lead him to concluseit was because of the Christian world view that scientific achievment in the west surpassed it in china. If you want to argue this I would suggest you get his degree qualifications in sinnology, but Iwould guess that your nothing buta biased atheist layman.

Since I came back from my studies I have found the atheists here amateurish at best.
in other words its getting boring in here. Has Stox outgrown his village atheist role yet?
