Religion In France

    They are banning the burqa in public places but continue to give people the right to dress in anyway in their homes.

    They banned sikh children from growing their hair and wearing a Turban in schools..

    People say its not a secular state, but I think its a right step as it helps children grow up as independently thinking individuals and decide for themselves when they are old enough rather than being forced into anything.

    What do you think?

    Of course! No matter how beautiful the turban or burqa looks or even how much its important in the child's religion...a child going to school is still a child who got his/her needs and do not want to belong to a different group or be picked on in school. I have seen loads of picked on kids and they could do nothing about it because their religion enforces this upon them.
    Whats more worse..if it affects them when they grow up..they won't be able to handle things on their own.

    Actually this is the big problem of European countries that they want each and every one just like they are.
