Ok, I am very new and uninformed on merchant accounts for accepting credit card payments. My dad is beginning to finish up his items he is going to be selling for his business and I need to find a good priced, reliable merchant.

I saw some things about mixed opinions on charge.com, authorize.net has removed all those merchants it used to list (and seem high priced) so recommendations would be good, below are some of the things id prefer the merchant accounts allows/works best with

-Orders can range from $50 to prolly around $1300
-Some customers may be from overseas, china, korea, singapore and such since he does a lot of business with people over there. (this is not required currently)
-Easily implemented into website or whatever...

hope for some good info from more experienced ppl than i

Authorize.Net is just a payment gateway provider. You will need then and a merchant account to accept credit cards through your website unless you choose a third party provider. As far as payment gateways go Authorize.Net is as good as it gets (it's why they are the most popular).

I would recommend a true merchant account as just one large order will make it cost effective to do so.

What percentage of sales will be from overseas?

This is a feature of the payment gateway. The Authorize.Net gateway is very easy to integrate. It can be done in minutes.
