Relevancy Increasing?

Is anyone else seeing a slight increase in the relevancy of their YPN ads? My text messaging sites are finally starting to show ads about ringtones and text messaging every so often.

I bet they are working towards it. They have to. If they fail, then advertisers wouldn't be interested in them as the traffic they get from adverts on YPN wouldn't be really well targeted. And, for a fact we know that sales wouldn't be as high :).

    Way to go Yahoo.

I've been noticing it somewhat and it's wonderful. I can't wait for YPN's relevancy to become on par with Adsense.

    Not really.

I think if you only have a particular niche sites they are good.

If you have mix and match, they get confused, they go by the account relevancy then site relevancy, I think.

    Only time will tell.

    Thanks

Same as usual on my site. I guess they haven't advertisers in food niche.
I get wholesales for extravirgin olive oil, but it's something the average american housewife is not interested into.

    I've been noticing relevancy increasing.

Even for those who don't see relevancy getting better, you can say it's a good thing the fact that others have been seeing improvements. That means there's actually someone at Yahoo! working on things.

    Ypn is SOOOo friggin retarded!
I only have it on a few pages - on a page about MP3 downloads I have these ads:
    "Parapalegic?"
    "Hypno-coaching"
"Music downloads" <-- OMG, they did it!!
    "Cleaning Service"

I don't know how Yahoo can charge advertisers for these clicks. they are so totally irrelevant i cant imagine 1/4 of the clicks coming form people that are actually interested in them. They're screwing the publishers with lame relevancy and screwing the advertisers by taking their money for the clicks that we do get.

More advertisers are signing up with Yahoo! probably. The relevancy still isn't as good as Adsense, though.

No. Click rates are actually declining across most of my sites and the ads are still seldom relevant.

Myspace resource sites are starting to see graphics school and all types of graphics related ads whereas before (a month ago) they didn't So yes the relevancy is definitely getting better slowly. Itll probably just take a while for it to spread to other niches.

But the revenue per click rates and CTR in general is dropping as stated above.

I've noticed a very slight increase in ad relevancy but about 75% of the ads are still not relevant.

What I have noticed is that with non-relevant ads, more people are reporting that they are making less $$$. So what I want to know is if Yahoo is keeping the same number of advertisers, but paying out less money to publishers, what are they doing with all that profit? Its obvious they are not putting it to use to fix their service.
