I've been having great success with relationship marketing (customized direct mail, targeted mailing lists, and PURLs used together.) We use Variable Thinking in Illinois (http://www.variablethinking.com).

I was wondering if anyone else is migrating to relationship marketing and what results they're experiencing. We were getting a 1% response rate (tops) using static mail, but in our last personalized campaign we had a 5% response rate. Is this normal????

I think its worth to go for relationship marketing especially if you have good customer database, the finance sectors are already gaining success by implementing relationship marketing.
