Relation feature in PHP MyAdmin - how to activate?

    i am using xampp Version 1.7.1 . my friend and i are using this for a long time...
    The problem is, i can't use the designer view for the tables and it seems like the relation feature is not activated...my friend's PHP myADMIN is working just fine:mad:..... HOW can i activate the relation feature and the designer view?

    Change your storage engine to InnoDB by going to Operation tab in phpmyadmin table,
