If you are using wordpress as platform you can dowload a plugin called "All in one SEO pack" Install it and you can have what ever you like in the description on the result pages.

I had already changed them but when I searched my site I had only the similar results thing come up. Unless it takes a while for them to update? either way I have added the pluggin with the same details as in the meta tags. Thanks
