Reinstate suspended accounts

Discussion in 'Google AdWords' started by cloudnthunder, Dec 20, 2009.

Hi so my adwords account are suspended. I was frustrated with the pending review and try out different landing pages some of which breach their tos. I was surprised they suspend my account within a few days.

Is there any way to get around this.

This is ridiculous. It's their own deficiency in system that got me breach their tos in the first place.

You can try to write them a letter to try and get a response.

I think You need to find what rule you broke and you need to find reason... why you broke rules whethear you broken rules knowingly or unknowingly. And explaine to them.... I hope they would understand..

The TOS is there for all to read. Google will just come back and say that ignorance of the law is no excuse. In fact, there is no excuse at all. Your claim that "deficiency in the system" is what caused you to breach the TOS will just get a laugh from them. I understand that it is frustrating to wait for ads to be approved but you have to be patient. If you're not the patient kind, maybe PPC is not for you.

it's not a laughing issue. I had a profit making campaign that I spend $500 a month. Last month I made an accident and cross the billing threshold. I think a specialist review my campaign and stopped it. Then I fiddle with the ad and was banned. It's a loss on all sides as far as I see it that's why I call it system deficiency.

It may be beneficial to get an agency involved.
While google many times will not offer solutions to people spending $500 a month they have dedicated representatives for agencies that are spending a couple million a month. The higher spend advertisers and agencies get the fastest response time. it's like financial triage can't blame them for this at all. a good agency should charge for an hour or two of consulting to solve your problem.

Most of the recent suspensions are not violations of the TOS.

They are related to Landing Page Quality Score. The "guidelines" for these are buried away in a very difficult to navigate help system - and they change without notice or notification.

Having a bad LPQS used to just cost you more per click. Without telling anyone they made it a capital offence (even if Google makes a mistake - no means of appeal...), and applied it retroactively.

Google is very much to blame for this how they are handling this. But they won't change, because they feel the secrecy and brutality is the only way they can keep ahead of spammers gaming their system.

There is a solution, one which most businesses with billions of cash sitting idle wouldn't hesitate to implement - hire staff. But Google are so obsessed with having machines run the show, you might as well call them SkyNet.

Google has slapped and banned many of accounts, especially the ones who promote products as affiliates. Try other PPC services like Yahoo Search Marketing or Microsoft Adcenter.

That example would be unlikely to get or maintain a LPQ Score above 3. I would not risk it.

The answer the original question: No way around, no way to get it back, it's permanent and re-opening an account with your credit card, adress etc. isn't possible.

Make sure that the payment option has been set up right and that your campaigns (ads; keywords) and such respect Google conditions and policies.
