    Can I reinstall vbulletin and keep all the posts if I link it to the same database? I have an error and rather then trying to figure this out I thought I could reinstall it but dont want to lose my posts and such.

    Yeah You can :)

    delete all the files using FTP or from Filemanager, Upload and extract the installation files again... install it to another Database, then go to config gile and change it to the old one :)

    Simple :)

    If you still have the error, you will still get it. Re-Installing won't help. Can you post your error here?

    I cant get to the admin cp :(

    ok I can get to the log in page but then when I hit log in I get this

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/content/g/a/m/gameapbt/html/forums/global.php on line 273

    the site was fine 2 weeks ago and no changes have been made. It just did this on its own

    Add this in config.php under <?
    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', 1);
    PHP:
    So it would look like this
    <?
    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', 1);
    PHP:
    Then go into admincp and disable vBAdvanced.

    ________

    Shortcut: Reupload ALL vBAdvanced files :)
