Reinstalled OS. Text Now Looks Jagged. Why?

    I just had to do a complete reinstallation of my operating system. For some reason, now, when I surf the Web, all text looks jagged. The larger the text, the more jagged it looks. Before the reinstallation, it all looked much smoother. Anyone know why, and what I need to install to get the text looking smooth again?

    Which OS? Of Windows, go to System Properties, Advanced, Performance -> Settings, and ensure that smooth fonts is ticked.
