I'm rewriting my pages to be mobile-friendly. When done with each page rewrite, I check it on Google's mobile-friendly test tool. When the page passes the test and is rated as mobile-friendly by Google, here's the question: does using that mobile-friendly test automatically trigger Google to recrawl and reindex that page as mobile-friendly? I still follow up each successful Google mobile-friendly test by submitting that page to Fetch As Google. But I'm curious if anyone knows (not just guessing) if just passing the Google test itself makes Google reindex the page as mobile-friendly.
Using the mobile-friendly test does not automatically send Google crawlers to your site, let alone get it reindexed. What seems to be answering your question in detail is here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en
