What do you think? Is this something you can embrace or is it absolutely absurd?

The possibility is there. Kinda like recycling. Soul recycling.
Though most reincarnation scenarios and theories are plain absurd.

I don't know if I believe in reincarnation per se but I do believe we're all here to learn lessons, and until we learn them our soul returns over and over. I guess if it makes me absurd, so be it. :p

In that case, some people on earth will be reincarnating forever and ever.

Well, at least try to make the best out of your stay in the hell hole. :D

Anyway, who's to say that the other choice of "places" for "relocating" are any better.

No, I think this is it. So, one shot to do it right, find (and help to give) heaven on earth now, in my opinion.

There is plenty of evidence to support reincarnation. there may not be proof, but evidence is not the same as proof. For example, an inncocent person can be convicted of a crime based on evidence and a guilty person can get off scott free due to a lack of evidence.

I do believe in reincarnation. I have read TONS of stuff about it and have even had a personal experience that convinced me.

That sure seems a better approach looking at it one way. If reincarnation was accepted as real, would the motivation for people to strive to be the best and live life to the fullest they can [because it's a one shot and only chance] be lessened ?

Would people be even more lazy and maybe strive less if they knew that they have many more lives and chances to go. Would suicide be seen as throwing a letter/article in the waste-bin and starting over again? would the value put on life be lessened ?

I think it would be the opposite. According to most beliefs in reincarnation if you committed suicide or wasted your time (life), or if you didnt do good then your next lifetime would be worse. So a belief in reincarnation and karma would lead a person to strive to do their best.

Yes, like being born as an animal or worm if you did evil and such. Man being a higher state of existence and a reward for living good lives previously.

Do people with a strong belief in reincarnation take life any differently? Maybe take it more easy, see things with a long view or such. Do you think people could reincarnate in different places, like one life on earth, another in a different world and such?

Reincarnation being accepted widely as truth can have positive connotations as well, like people might strive to preserve nature and renewable resources, not only for future generations as is often said, but because we might be here again and suffer because of our own earlier misdeeds.

If there was reincarnation we'd know it. There is no reason to think it's real, other than it would be a cool thing. Fantasy books are full of cool things, btw.

How could we "know" such a thing? Things like this cannot be scientifically proven, nor can they be scientifically disproven.

Yup. Science does have it's flaws and weak areas and places where it can't conclusively prove/disprove things. That's why science always needs to be improved and bettered.

Reincarnation is definitely a possibility. But there is often some wayward imagination and misinformation added in.

speaking of the supernaturl here is part of an email i got after I posted what i did above, or at least before I opened by email and saw it.

'Many light workers are wondering why they cannot tap into the divine stream of wealth and abundance so they can accomplish their mission and fulfill their dreams. Many are still struggling to survive and meet their everyday obligations while those who operate from a standpoint of greed and power, very obviously in the third dimension, grow richer. "

    interesting eh?

I havent read the whole thing yet, i just saw this and it caught my attention.
