One of my domains, I have apparently driven into the ground for quality score purposes on the content network. Again, I'm just talking about content... not search. The way I know this is that if I put the exact same ad text into an adgroup... or all 300 adgroups... but instead use the URL of the affiliate program rather than my domain name, the affiliate's ad will display 98% of the time. Since the only difference is the URL, I'm guessing that google thinks my domain is crap. They have every right to think this since I've lived off of low ctr content ads pointing to this domain for a long time. So, is there anything I can do to rehab this domain? Like could I stop all traffic going to the domain for a week or two except a few keywords that get high ctr? Or, do I just go buy another domain and start considering them disposable? What is kind of odd... is that my domain ranks way higher than the affiliate's in the natural serps for most of my keywords. So google like my site in organic search, but hates it in paid search.
