Sorry for the crap title was the best I could come up with.

I owned a domain 6 years ago, and I let it slide, someone bought it and parked it and it has been parked for years, it has no back links or no PR, it just holds nostalgia for me, and as such I want it back.

I have checked the WHOIS records and the WHOIS has been hidden, and so does anyone have any idea how I can get in contact with the owner to attempt to make an offer on the site?

    Thanks
    Chris

The Whois data on a domain is required to be valid, but often registrants use a privacy service to protect their identity. Normally if there's an email address included in the information, if you send an offer to it, the service ought to pass it along to the owner of the domain.

    Stop thinking about it!

Find another domain, these domains are hard to track down.....

    that's just my 2 cent's

p.s. if you really want this domain I would call the company that registered the domain and ask them really politely if they could forward your offer to the owner. and ask them to tell him your phone number if he wants to sell.
