What 1 single thing do you regret the most of which you done on the internet. For me it was back around.. 2 years back when I paid a hacker to give me my reallly crappy site back.
Pick my user id to be my last name. The local ISP always showed who was online. Since I was only person in town with that last name and taught, I could not go online without students saying hi. I could not get my work done. Was out of town over the summer and when I came back signed up under a different user name. You live and occasionally learn. Shannon
true. not updating my passwords once in a while.. i mean, over the years i've learned that i should have it changed once in a while..
Regret comes from guilt. Guilt comes from morality. Morality is a system of control placed by the strong to make the weak less troublesome and weaker. Regret is a weakness, be happy in the things you do for they are your own and no one elses. I do, however, understand the need to sometimes regret failings to make ones self stronger. Be strong.
I've always tried to make decisions with the best of intentions, then when it all turns to custard I can, atleast, know that I did whatever for the right reasons. Not to say that I don't wish I'd done a instead of b on occassion, but that's the benefit of hindsight and experience. Sarah
Ooookkkkeeyyy Dominus , thanks for the weirdo view! SarahK, I never think anything out, so I guess thats why I regret alot
Things I did on the Internet... I laughed, I cried, I danced around to mp3s, I worked in pajamas, I found a career, I sold a business, I ended up with many new friends, I met my beloved. Nope, no regrets here!
My regret is just internet related. I invested in a real up and coming internet company during the boom. Needless to say its business model fell apart and I lost 5 figures. I now stick to mutual funds and my own businesses. I would think hard and long about investing in another business.
Except if you made your money early you were set. The problem was getting actual cash rather than stocks. I knew a lot of "paper millionares" during that time.
